I thought about reducing the resolution to 1080p to avoid it getting auto-tagged as 4K, but since it was a request from someone who left a bunch of nice comments when I was starting out, it seemed best to leave it as intact as possible. I'll avoid this kind of thing in the future for sure. I know it's annoying when a video that says 4K isn't really.

It's both cuz well its porn, but also same reason , some of those videos really have "interesting" visual choices that deserves better haha. And a great way to practice professional skills while *enjoying* your work! I fw you heavy

It's definitely native 4K. That's what 4K looks like with in-camera sharpening turned off. It sort of gives a more "film" look, which they're leaning into with a low saturation color grade, and the blacks are also pushed up so that they never get close to approaching actual black. Not the kind of grade I like for porn most of the time, but it has that really cool high-quality, expensive look to it. Plus it's balanced instead of them throwing a film emulation LUT on top that skews all of the colors in weird

I love how much more exciting the skin tones are in this one compared to the washed out tones of the original. Good work, man.

Sure, but temper your expectations; it's a 1080p scene that seems to have been shot on an older digital camera and then AI upscaled and also given some kind of frame generation. It's in rough shape, so I can only rein in the brightness and adjust the color a limited amount.

What do you use to do this? What's the process?

Da Vinci Resolve. I use the paid version which allows me to use DCTLs (basically -created plugins that give me a little extra flexibility), but the free version is super flexible and will let you do a lot. All of it's done on the color page using all kinds of weird techniques, some of which borrowed from color correction channels on Youtube but most the result of "hey, I wonder if this would work" experimentation.

Brother, great job on the videos! This was the first one I saw cause I love Madison Wilde but then I read your caption and as a casual fan of color theory I had to go back and check out your work. Really nice job capturing her skin tone and making the uniform pop. Hope the career in color correction takes off!

Hey colorcorrect. See several of your vids have been remmoved. A suggestion is the name of talent you use as a vid title, write it backwards or sprinkle symbols in the name.

I appreciate the tip, and it'd definitely help them to stay up, but videos would also become harder to find. The good ones tend to be reed by other people anyway, so I'm taking an "easy come, easy go" approach.

I would if I could find a good-quality 1080p version (720p and below doesn't respond to edits well). The Pornhub version seems to be upscaled from 720p with a giant 1080p logo slapped on it, and I can't find a better source anywhere.

Yeah, there are a few minor artifacts to figure out a workaround for next time, but I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out overall.

Oh yeah, big Lila Love fan here. I didn't see anything too egregious when I went skimming through her scenes, honestlyseems like a situation where she's just a bit on the paler side, and pushing pale skin tones can get a bit weird, but if you have any particular scene in mind, I'd be willing to throw caution to the wind and give it a go anyway.

I'm not 100% sure. It seems like scenes in brattysis or spankmonster look a little bland because of the bright backdrop. But I don't have an eye for this. I didn't know that scenes like the one with Kylie Shay could get better until you made it.

Great work! Is a scene like Hannah Hawthorne's amateur allure scene fixable? Or is it too washed out?

It's usually impossible to tell which scenes can be pushed around without breaking apart, but evening out that bright face light seems like it'd go far on amateur allure stuff, and evening out lighting is usually pretty non-destructive. I'd guess that it'd be workable, but finding a good source for that scene seems to be the bigger issue. I'll keep an eye out.

It occurs to me that if this site weren't so undependable it might be worth it to color correct some of Kylie Shay's 1080p and up 60fps scenes, she seems done dirty by how washed out they make her, and her curves deserve to be seen clearly in all their glory IMHO.

Apparently I don't get notified about comments on here, which is a bit frustrating. Do you have a particular scene in mind? I can't make any promises because some are just shot poorly and not worth the effort of trying to rein in, but she has gorgeous eyes and I'd love to take a run at it.
